The Rev. Yuriria (Yuri) Rodriguez

Yuri will serve St. Paul’s full time as Interim Associate Rector this summer and will provide much-needed pastoral and sacramental support to the parish during Beth’s medical leave and Jeff’s sabbatical.

Yuri brings with her a deep bench of gifts and experience in ministry. Most recently, she served for two years as Curate at Church of the Nativity in Indianapolis. Before that, she served for seven years at Christ Church Cathedral, Indianapolis as the Associate Director of Hispanic Music and as the cathedral’s Communications Manager. Yuri is a seminary graduate of Sewanee School of Theology. She holds a Master of Music in Vocal Performance and Opera and a bachelors in Vocal Performance from the IU Jacobs School of Music.

Yuri has extensive involvement in the ministry of the wider Episcopal Church, including currently serving on the Standing Commission on Liturgy and Music as well as a Trinity Wall Street Leadership Fellow. In her own words, "This program provides formation, mindset, and practical skills for emerging faith leaders with the goal of energizing and empowering our congregations and communities in a way that heals divides, and disrupt injustice as compelled in the Gospel. As a result of this work, I will be implementing a project that celebrates and teaches about the lives of Latina immigrants in our communities of faith.”

Yuri lives in Noblesville with her two daughters - Mercedes, a high school student and Belen, a middle school student.
