St. Paul’s Music

St. Paul’s Music is grateful to those who attend and support music-led services, concerts & special events!

See details below and plan to join us for the 2025-26 season:

Passiontide Meditation, Caroline Shaw, To The Hands & Thomas Tallis, Lamentations of Jeremiah, Sunday, March 29, 4 p.m.

St. Paul’s Staff Singers and teen choristers combine to perform a service of ancient and modern music. Tallis’s Lamentations are among the brightest gems in a broad sea of Tudor jewels. Pulitzer Prize winner Caroline Shaw was commissioned by the contemporary choir The Crossing to write a response to the 17th century cantata “Ad manus” (literally “to the hands”) from Dietrich Buxtehude’s series of cantatas meditating on each of the wounds of Jesus on the cross. Paired together, the Tallis and Shaw works create an arc of past to present, spanning a wealth of expression and emotion as we enter Holy Week. Please come, listen, and be still for a while. All are welcome! Livestream is available on Facebook and YouTube.

Easter Day Festival Eucharist, Sunday, April 5, 9 & 11:15 a.m.

St. Paul’s Choir sings festive music to celebrate the Feast of the Resurrection. Hymns and anthems will be accompanied by organ, brass and timpani. Livestream is available on Facebook and YouTube.

Ronen Chamber Ensemble, Sunday, April 12, 4 p.m.

St. Paul’s Choir School Recital, Thursday, May 7, 7 p.m.
