St. Paul's Short-Term Volunteer Teams:
Parish Retreat Planning Team - Serve from April-September, meeting once/month, and participate in the Parish Retreat at Waycross, Sept 19-21
Mess Fest Planning Team - Serve from April-August, meeting about four times, and participate in Mess Fest, on August 17.

“Beloved Community in Practice” :: Join for an adult forum on Sunday, April 27, 10:15-11 a.m. in St. Paul’s Parish Hall!
Led by St. Paul’s Director of Children, Youth & Family, Laurie Pierce, this forum will highlight the partnership between St. Paul’s Indy and MLK Community Center!
Volunteer Opportunities with MLK Center: St. Paul's has been building its relationship and partnership with the MLK Center, five minutes south of St. Paul's. The center provides afterschool programming to low-income families, housing and utility assistance, mental health counseling, support groups, elderly social groups and more. St. Paul's has partnered with MLK in many ways over the past three years. All are invited to join this relational-based and jointly beneficial partnership.
MLK Block Party, Saturday, May 17, 3:30-6 p.m., MLK Center
Facilitate a carnival game.
MLK Cooking Club, Thursdays, June 12 or 26, July 10; Wednesday, July 16, 12:30-3 p.m., St. Paul’s Parish Hall
Leaders are needed to assist 3-6 elementary-aged students with reading and following a simple recipe. Recipe and ingredients will be provided. Community Engagement volunteers will be in Burrows Commons on Sundays, May 4 and 11 to answer questions and assist with in-person sign ups.
Garden Club, MLK Center
Work with elementary students to plant, water and care for garden boxes at the MLK Center. Bill Cummings is leading this club. Please click here to email Bill with interest.
DIY Craft or Hobby, June 16, 17 or 18, St. Paul’s Youth Lounge
The MLK Center high school summer camp class needs three different session leaders to teach students a craft or hobby.
