Sacred Ground Returns this Fall
Sunday, October 18, 12:45-2:30 p.m., Launch Luncheon in CRR (second floor, Parish Ctr. bldg.)
Sacred Ground returns this fall, and we invite you to join the conversation. This seven-month Episcopal dialogue series explores America’s history of race and racism through a lens of faith, reflection and conversation. Together, we’ll learn about the histories and experiences of Black, Indigenous, Latino and Asian/Pacific American communities and their intersections with European American histories. We’ll also consider our own family stories, identities and experiences — and how the past continues to shape our communities today. Open to all, Sacred Ground is an opportunity to listen deeply, learn from different perspectives and reflect on what our faith calls us to do. We’ll launch the program by having lunch together. Sessions will then be held mostly bi-weekly on Sunday evenings from 6:30–8 p.m., starting November 1. Please click here to email the Rev. Dr. Pamela Payne with questions; click below for details and to register:
