Join for a forum discussing data centers and Creation Care concerns. This forum will be facilitated by Lindsay Shipps Haake, Founder of Onward and Upward Strategies and parishioner at Trinity Episcopal Church, Indianapolis.

You may have heard how communities across Indiana have been inundated by big tech companies like Google, Meta and Amazon, which have proposed nearly 60 hyperscale artificial intelligence data center projects that pose the largest threat to our water supply, affordable utility bills and a path to a sustainable future for future generations of Hoosiers. Hoosiers across the state are fighting to maintain life as they know it, and now, in Indianapolis, three data centers have been proposed in three townships. While data centers that house computers and servers have been around for decades without causing concern, artificial intelligence data centers now coming to Indiana communities are massive, specialized hyperscale facilities built by companies to feed the generative artificial intelligence (AI) beast. We'll discuss the threats to our Creation with Indiana's clean water and the threat to our utility landscape, culminating in tactics for Creation-minded decision-making to preserve God's Season of Creation for future generations, here in Indiana and beyond.
