Faith In Action Update :: Stay Engaged!

As part of St. Paul's mission to strive for justice and share Christ’s love, the Advocacy, Equity & Justice team is providing regular action suggestions aligned with Episcopalian values. This week’s recommendation is to Stay Engaged!

Although the 124th session of the Indiana General Assembly ended on April 24, parishioners can stay engaged with their state legislators. All may contact legislators about upcoming legislation or bills that passed during the past session.

The state representatives and senators for Marion, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks and Boone counties are:

  • Rep. Ed DeLaney District 86

  • Rep. Bob Behning District 91

  • Rep. Ragen Hatcher District 46

  • Rep. Garrett Bascom District 28

  • Rep. Alex Burton District 33

  • Rep. Andrew Ireland District 34

    State senators are:

  • Sen. Michael Crider portions of Shelby and Marion counties

  • Sen. Aaron Freeman Indianapolis which is Marion County

  • Sen. Eric Koch portions of Marion and Hendricks counties

  • Sen. R. Michael Young portions of Marion and Hendricks counties.

Contact Indiana General Assembly Portal (Indiana House Members: 800.382.9841) and (Indiana Senate Members 800.382.9467).

The Advocacy, Equity and Justice team wishes to thank St. Paul’s members who put their faith in action by contacting legislators about proposed bills that aligned or misaligned with our Episcopalian values. Please continue to support our team as we strive for justice in our state. Please click here to email Irma Boyett with suggestions or questions.
