God’s love is like... a blanket on a chilly night because He wraps us up in His love and gives us comfort when we need it.

God’s love is like… a beloved family pet because they are always eager to welcome you and love you unconditionally.

God’s love is like… that special plant that blooms at the just the right time (when you need it most) because it reminds us that our Creator is always there for us.

God’s love is like… a book because you never know where it will take you.

God’s love is like… a wrench because it’s helping us open what we can’t on our own.

God’s love is like… a library card because it opens up worlds we couldn’t explore on our own.

God’s love is like… a pair of glasses because His love helps you to see the way, bringing the world and what is important into focus.

God’s love is like… a strong mint because it sometimes catches you off guard and makes your eyes water.

God’s love is like… a new pen because with His love our story will never truly be over.

God’s love is like… liquid water because it takes the shape of whatever container you pour it into.

God’s love is like… wire cutters because they’re exactly what you need and nothing else really works.

God’s love is like… a metronome because it has a steady, measured beat!

God’s love is like… a fuzzy, warm pair of socks because it is encompassing, comforting and protective.

God’s love is like… a favorite Christmas ornament because (life is fragile) it serves as a reminder of His love. The hands that have held this ornament also held me as a child and showed me what God’s love is. Seeing this ornament reminds me of the love for those that are no longer here but are now held in God’s grace, and the promise of God’s love for all of us (a love so immense that He sent His son to save us).

God’s love is like… a warm cookie because it’s nourishing to the soul.

God’s love is like… a bowl of warm chili on a cold day because it is filling us up and nourishing us.

God’s love is like… a fire because it comforts us, offers us warmth and provides light for our path.

God’s love is like… pet hair because it travels with you!

God’s love is like… a compass because it gives us direction in life, showing us the way.

God’s love is like… bread because it nourishes our souls like bread nourishes our bodies.

God’s love is like… nature because it appears in many different forms, but is always present and gives me peace, strength and hope - even in challenging times - reminding me that God is always with me.

God’s love is like… a compass because it is a steady and reliable way to help guide you through life’s journey.

God’s love is like… the game of Life, ice cream, fuzzy socks, clothing, a best friend, a hug and whipped cream at the end of the meeting.

God’s love is like… a Mobius strip because it is infinite.

God’s love is like… my great niece, Sophie, because both are freely given, miraculous, astonishing, delightful blessings.
