Maundy Thursday
Thursday, April 21 • 7:00 p.m.
Holy Eucharist with Ceremony of Foot Washing and Stripping of the Altar
9:00 p.m. (Thursday) to 11:00 a.m. (Friday)
Prayer Vigil
In the Chapel of the Good Shepherd, a watch will be set, to pray, to
meditate, to sit with Jesus through the night. Parishioners are invited and encouraged
to sign up to keep the watch in one-hour increments, from 9:00 p.m.-11:00 a.m. on
Good Friday when the sacrament is returned to the church in readiness for that liturgy.
A sign-up poster is in the Burrows Commons, or you may contact the Church Office (253.1277). The cloister door will
be used for coming/going. Parking on the circle drive, near the Tower, is recommended.
Liturgy of Good Friday
Friday, April 22 • 12:00 noon
This Liturgy incorporates the reading of the Passion Gospel with hymns and anthems that portray the story of the cross. Afterward, the church will be open for meditation and silent prayer from 1:00-3:00 p.m.
Nursery hours: 11:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Holy Saturday Liturgy

This service of waiting is said before the church is prepared for the celebration of Easter.
The Great Vigil of Easter
Saturday, April 23 • 8:00 p.m.
The Great Vigil of Easter celebrates new fire, new light, new life and resurrection. This is one of the most powerful liturgies of the Church.
