• Youth Group
Youth Group activities range from recreational, to service-oriented, to informative programs. The Rite 13 and J2A aged-youth will meet separately for program pieces, but do meet together for most service and recreational activities. Our service projects include the CROP WALK, the Christmas Families Project, and an annual Mission Trip.
• Youth Advisory Group (YAG)
The YAG is a group of youth and adults who meet quarterly or more often to plan our recreational Sunday evening activities and special events.
• Acolytes
This ministry, shared by youth and adults, is open to persons in the 4th grade and up. If you would like to serve at the Altar, there is a place for you.
Training sessions are offered the first Saturday of each month for those who wish to serve as acolytes. Contact Larry Krauser lkrauser@indy.rr.com or 283-8618.
• Youth Greeters and Ushers
We encourage young people to assist in worship duties as greeters and ushers. Youth interested in serving this way go through a brief training session.
• Youth Lectors and Intercessors
Lector training is available to young people who wish to participate in worship by reading lessons. Also, youth may be scheduled to read the Prayers of the People.
• Bethsaida Group
High schoolers meet on Tuesdays from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the J2A room for food, fellowship and conversation on faith and current events.
• Kids' Word
Children ages 3-8 are invited to enjoy Kids' Word (Gospel-related activities) or Kids' Song (casual music instruction) in place of Sunday's 9:00 sermon. Kids' Word meets every Sunday except the third Sunday of the month, when Assistant Organist/Choir Director Edie Johnson leads Kids' Song. Children should meet at the south doors of the Parish Hall during the hymn before the Gospel.
• Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is offered in June and is for children ages 4-10 years old. Older children and youth participate as assistant group leaders. Information concerning dates and registration are announced in the monthly newsletters and weekly bulletins in the spring.
• All Saints' Saturday and Palm Saturday
Through stories, crafts, music, games and worship, children 4-12 years explore the Feast of All Saints and the Passion Week, respectively.
• Waycross Summer Camp
Summer programs at Waycross Episcopal Camp are available for young people from eight years through the high school years. Waycross is located in Brown County, Indiana. The camp's mission is to serve all who seek fellowship, respite, reflection and growth by providing Christian hospitality and enriching programs.
