Young Adult Ministry at St. Paul's
Contact: The Rev. Les Carpenter, Assistant Rector
At St. Paul's we are committed to an innovative approach to Young Adult Ministry that forms connections, builds community, transforms lives, and participates in God's vision of justice and compassion for all.
Developing a personal connection is very important to us. Our one-on-one ministry is where we get to connect with people individually to learn their passions and interests, and respect them for who they are. We also engage with each other through worship, group study, and parish events and activities.
We look forward to getting to know you!

• Community & Connections
Being a part of St. Paul's community means more than just spending an hour or two together on Sundays. We come together as friends in Christ, and as friends we like having fun!
Whether it's coffee in the morning, or sushi in the evening, young adults meet up off-site for a time of friendship and discussion.
We have helped plan a mix of new parish activities, such as the Garth Gathering, an evening of hors d'oeuvres and live music in St. Paul's new courtyard, Euchre, Trivial Pursuit and other game-themed parties, "Going Green" events, golf outings and the Pet Blessing in Broad Ripple Park (think anything on a leash or in a cage).
There are also a lot of "old" favorites, like the all-ages Halloween costume party,
the St. Nick party in early December, the British Soirée & Silent Auction in May,
and the Mardi Gras fundraiser.

• Growing Together in Faith & Friendship
St. Paul's Young Adult Ministry is always open to suggestions. We decide the shape and direction of our ministry by actually listening to young adults like you. Your concerns, hopes and ideas matter. As this ministry is in a period of discernment and development, your feedback is even more important right now.
So whether you are Mr. Pious or you are afraid that church + you = lightning bolt, you are welcome here to learn, to struggle, and to grow with us all in a community of love and hope.
