Going Green Initiative & the Green Team
Contact the Green Team
As a community of faith, our approach to living "green" has its basis in scripture. In early 2008 St. Paul's started a Going Green Initiative, lead by a "Green Team." Green Team members are committed to looking at environmental sustainability as a social justice issue, remembering that peace and justice are part of God's plan for Creation. They focus on energy, purchasing and recycling, education, worship, and community outreach.

Computer E-Cycling event
In celebration of Earth Day, we are hosting another E-Cycling event. This year the collection is limited to computers, computer parts and microwaves, only. Items we collect will be put to good use by Wings for West Africa and WorkForce, Inc.
Drop-off times are Friday, April 24, 12 noon to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 25, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Parish Center.
For more info, or to volunteer, contact Donna Zierdt, 253-9418 or dzierdt@indy.rr.com.
If you can't make the event, or if you have additional office electronics to donate, simply take it to Workforce, Inc. at the Saturday morning Farmers Market at 62nd and Allisonville Rd. If you'd like to donate fairly new computers (anything that's new enough that it didn't come with a floppy disk drive), contact Wings for West Africa.
