Choir Programs for Adult Singers
St. Paul's three adult choir programs engage adults in worship through singing. The emphasis is on teaching and personal instruction for each member.
• Church Choir
Singing in St. Paul's Choir requires enthusiasm for choral singing and basic music reading skills. The choirs sing for the weekly Holy Eucharist at 9:00 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. on Sundays, lead Choral Evensongs on the second Sunday of each month, and perform occasional concerts. The 9:00 a.m. choir is composed of trebles (boys and girls who sing soprano) with adults and teens who sing alto, tenor and bass. The 11:15 a.m. choir consists of adult singers only. Rehearsals for adults are Wednesday nights from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
• Summer Term Choir
If you want to be a part of the music ministry, but can't manage the a full-time choir commitment, Summer Term Choir is for you! Sign up for one or more Sundays, June-August, by contacting Frank Boles at ext. 30.
• Indianapolis Pro Musica
This chamber choir of approximately 24 singers consists of highly-trained musicians from the Indianapolis community. Entrance into the group is through audition. Pro Musica performs choral masterworks from all ages with an emphasis on a capella music from the Renaissance Period through the 20th Century.
For additional information please contact either Frank Boles, Organist and Associate for Music, or Edie Johnson, Assistant Organist/Choir Director.
