RITE 13 CELEBRATION OF MANHOOD & WOMANHOOD
:: Sunday, May 11, during the 9:00 a.m. service ::

A reception will follow in the Lilly Room. Each young person will display a collage depicting their skills, interests and accomplishments.

You will have the opportunity to pledge your support of these youth by signing a “Witness Sheet.” As a Witness, one pledges to support each young person in their journey to adulthood, through prayer, friendship, guidance and sharing of expertise.

We invite you to attend this service and participate in the moving liturgy as parents recognize their child’s growth and as the youth seek the path that brings light and life.
WORDS OF WISDOM

"To listen is to continually give up all expectation and to give our attention, completely and freshly, to what is before us, not really knowing what we will hear or what that will mean. In the practice of our days, to listen is to lean in, softly, with a willingness to be changed by what we hear."
. . . Mark Nepo, a philosopher, author and cancer survivor who is devoted to exploring the journey of healing where the paths of art and spirit meet.

If you have a favorite reflection or quote to share, email Barbara Haberman.
